COA Coin Program
What is the COA Coin Prize Program?
Earn COA coins by engaging in accreditation activities, demonstrating knowledge, and participating in initiatives led by your COA Ambassadors. Redeem your coins for exciting prizes at designated redemption opportunities. Below are the rules and guidelines to ensure fairness and clarity for all participants.
Prize Tiers
Prizes are awarded based on the number of COA coins you have earned at the time of redemption. The prize tiers are as follows:
- 1–2 Coins: Tier 1 Prize
- 3–6 Coins: Tier 2 Prize
- 7–10 Coins: Tier 3 Prize
- 11–15 Coins: Tier 4 Prize
- 16–20 Coins: Tier 5 Prize
- 21–25 Coins: Tier 6 Prize
Rules for Redemption
- Redemption Opportunities:
- You can redeem prizes at any time starting February 6th.
- One Prize Per Redemption Opportunity:
- You can redeem coins for only one prize per redemption opportunity.
- No Combining Coins:
- Coins cannot be combined with other employees’ coins. Each employee earns and redeems coins individually.
- First Come, First Served:
- Prizes are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis during the redemption period. Arrive early to maximize your choices, or email your request for a specific prize during the redemption period. You will be notified if your desired prize has already been claimed.
Opportunities to Earn Coins
- COA Ambassadors:
- COA Ambassadors in your department will identify and reward “COA Achievers” for demonstrating knowledge, completing tasks, and engaging with accreditation activities.
- Ambassadors will also distribute coins during staff meetings, training sessions, and quizzes.
- Organization-Wide Activities:
- Participate in organization-wide initiatives such as COA Open Houses, quizzes, and other planned events.
- Earn coins by demonstrating knowledge about COA standards and accreditation.
Fair Redemption for All Employees
We understand that employees are located at different offices, and prizes are stored at a single location. To ensure fairness for all employees:
- Flexible Redemption Options:
- Employees unable to visit the prize location in person may submit their coin totals through email (Josh Freeman jfreeman@thewholechild.org). I will reserve the corresponding prize on your behalf.
- A virtual prize list will be shared with all employees ahead of redemption periods, allowing everyone to see available prizes and make informed choices.
Additional Notes
- Be proactive in earning COA coins by participating in available activities.
- Stay in touch with your COA Ambassador for updates on earning opportunities and upcoming events.
- Remember, this program is about recognizing and celebrating your contributions to our accreditation journey—have fun and enjoy the rewards!
