Sandy Shin is the Human Resources Director of The Whole Child. She joined the organization in 2024 and oversees the Human Resources department.
Sandy has over 15 years of Human Resources and Operations experience in a variety of different industries: private education, non-profit, food manufacturing, and eCommerce. Sandy has always had a heart for the non-profit sector and is excited to be working in the non-profit sector again.
Sandy holds an MBA from The Paul Merage School of Business at UC-Irvine and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Social Behavior also from UC-Irvine. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Sandy was born in South Korea, raised in LA, and now lives in Orange County with her husband and her feline fur baby, Neo. Sandy has a genuine zest for life and loves traveling, checking out new restaurants, learning new things, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
